Tonight Melody prayed, "Thank you for all the lovely things we have to comfort ourselves with."
I love that thought....
I love, mud puddles, swinging in the rain, laughing out loud, a sparkle in the eye, fluffy, warm kitties and baby grins.
I love, the smell of fresh-cut grass, the joy of growing flowers, the pleasure of new discovery, the sweetness of contemplation.
I love, lazy days and hard work too. I love things that are free and things that are spendy. I love when it's not enough and I love when there's plenty.
In every moment there is such possibility, sometimes I give into age and forget, forget the magic of being alive. Forget that I was made in His image for this moment.
(The photos are of the flowers growing about the yard. This post is a tribute to my friend Jennifer Boyd who totally changed my view of how God works and challenged me to take the time to listen.)
